Waterfront Home- Community Expert
The Linnerooth team did a great job all the way around. We started with a walk through where they generated a list of items to do to prep the house for sale. They sent a list of service providers that they recommend to get the jobs done. All the folks I dealt with on the list were good and I've added several of them to my pemanent list of people to call for work.
We rushed to get the listing ready before July 4, and they were very timely as far as staging, and getting pictures and info to get the listing live before the holiday. They moved in a lot of furniture and got the house well staged in a short time, and they came by to take pictures themselves to have for the listing since I was having work done right up to the last minute. So everything was ready to go despite my really tight time frame and we get several showings on July 4.
Then they brought in a professional photographer who did a great job photographing the house, and they prepped a very good presentation slide show which really showed the house off well.
They are always instantaneous in responding to phone calls and emails, and kept me informed of every showing and the feedback from the other agents. We ended up with a full-price offer in 17 days.

We chose to work with Sue to find our home after working for a short period of time with another agent. It didn't take long for us to wonder why we hadn't worked with her from the beginning! Sue sent us countless options! She was prompt in responding to our requests, available basically anytime to look at a home, and honest in her opinion of the homes. Initially we went in prepared to take on a fixer upper, ready for projects, but I think Sue may have known us better than we knew ourselves. Sue continued the search for the perfect home with us through numerous homes that were far too large of projects or just plain weren't going to work. We were all so eager and knew that the house had to be right around the corner. Sue was out showing us homes at least once a week for almost 2 months! A Miracle Worker
About 3 months ago, we closed on our new home. Chris Linnerooth (our buyer’s agent) was a miracle worker in making this happen for us. What he did for my family was truly exceptional and I wanted to share that with someone anyone considering the purchase of a new home. His actions prevented us from having to pursue legal action, and left us with such a positive impression that he and Sue have earned a lifetime of referrals from us.
Our sellers agreed to complete thousands of dollars in repairs, and then failed to deliver on that agreement. Without the work that Chris did on our behalf, we would be forced to pursue legal action. Chris prevented that from happening. He did so by devoting hours of his time drafting documents, working with contractors, and then holding the sellers to account for the agreements that they made. The hours that he devoted to making this transaction smooth was truly astonishing.
As we speak, I am drafting a plug for Sue and Chris that I intend to post to several mailing distribution groups to which I belong here at my company. This was some work that Windermere can be truly proud about. I felt it necessary to share this anyone considering the purchase of a new home.
